The Tunnel of Love is a green-leafy passage of trees located near Kevan, Ukraine. It is an industrial track for wooden work. During construction of the railway, trees were deliberately planted on both sides of the track in order to keep the transportation of military hardware hidden away. The construction dates all the way back to the Cold War.

This railway is surrounded by green arches and trees all over its 3-5 kilometre length. Nature has grown freely around the track and has remained untouched since 2013.

For the past several years, trains have been passing for the purpose of delivering wood to a factory that produces plywood for the West European market. This has molded the trees lines into an appealing passageway.

The Tunnel of Love has become popular amongst couples and newlyweds for long walks and photoshoots. The tunnel is also used by couples who want to make wishes. Legend says, if you sincerely make a wish at The Tunnel of Love, then it is sure to come true!

Caution should be taken when visiting as trains still operate there daily. The best time to visit would be early in the morning. It is less crowded and you will be able to enjoy the wonderful surroundings with the clean morning air.
