Coffee is celebrated highly in Hawaii which is why there is even an entire festival dedicated to it! Known as the Kona Coffee Festival, it is the oldest and most successful food festival in Hawaii.
This festival started in 1970 and is held every November in an effort to preserve the almost 200 year old coffee heritage and the agricultural community.
