Here are KANGAs 3 steps to a stress free life!
1• GET A WORKOUT IN
No matter how little. Take a walk around the neighbourhood, dance to four of your favourite songs like no one is watching or hit the gym up to 3 times a week!
When we work out by walking, dancing or hitting the gym, we release endorphins and as Elle Woods of 'Legally Blonde' taught us, endorphins make you HAPPY!
This will instantly change your mood for the better and will help you forget all the stress the day might bring!
2• WHAT WAS THAT? Oh NOTHING!
Yeah, that's right...NOTHING!
Over-use anything, your phone or your car and it will surely get tired or worn out. Same with your brain.
Take a good 5-20 minutes out of each day to do...NOTHING!
To help you achieve this fully, switch your phone and TV off and stay away from any noise or distractions, just for a few minutes.
Allow your brain to get idle and bored. This will allow it to recharge and get some new juices flowing! TRY IT!
3• YOU HAVE STRESS, STRESS DOES NOT HAVE YOU!
Just like with so many things in life, you can use the negatives of stress to your advantage!
Does stress make you anxious tired or nervous? Probably yes! As a result these will send warning signs and alerts to your brain...use it to your advantage!!
When faced with dilemmas such as anxienty and/or nerves, your brain automatically goes into 'survival mode' and starts coming up with ways to tackle those situations.
Your brain is at its most creative at this point. So anytime you are faced with stressful situations, maybe public speaking, an interview or an upcoming event, don't panic, as creativity and inspiration will be on the horizon!
