Yellow Town - Hoi An, Vietnam
All over this ancient town are several buildings, walls, and houses all with at least one thing in common, they are all painted in different hues of yellow.
This town is Hoi An, in central Vietnam and it is fully drenched in yellow! Perfect for any vibe and any backdrop!
Why Yellow? Well there are several theories -
• Yellow symbolises luck, pride, respect and wealth in Vietnamese Culture.
• Yellow helps absorb less heat, due to the humid climate of Vietnam.
Hoi An attracts travellers, artists and photographers from all over the world. It has maintained its traditional architecture, from the 17th and 18th centuries, enabled by the strict building regulations of Hoi An.
The town still uses its original street plans & residents still use canals for transportation. Not much has really changed in hundereds of years!
Enjoy the yellow alleys filled with fruit vendors, the narrow streets, intimate restaurants, quirky shops and much more yummy yellow-ness!
